Health is a state of complete physical, mental, and social well-being. All humans strive to be "healthy" so that they can be happy and productive. Unfortunately, statistics show that there are "differences in the incidence, prevalence, mortality, and burden of diseases and other adverse health conditions among specific population groups in the U.S." (NIH). Findings that indicate health disparities among races suggest reason to suspect a number of explanatory factors.
